SmokeCloak DNA is a worthy Investment

"If only I’d known about fog security earlier!" says museum director Torben Grøngaard Jeppesen, as he recalls a 1992 burglary at the Hans Christian Andersen Museum in Odense, Denmark, when irreplaceable items were stolen. Unfortunately, the items were never found or returned to the museum. As Jeppesen recounts, "My greatest concern is that it could happen again. That’s why we’ve taken several steps to safeguard the museum – including SmokeCloak fog protection."

SmokeCloak has now found a method by which a unique and natural DNA tag can be added to the fog fluid, and which can thus safeguard customers’ valuables even better. The DNA is quite safe – actually, it is based on botanical matter – but when it comes in contact with a burglar, it will remain on his or her skin and hair. If the suspect is later taken into custody, it will then be possible to link the individual to the scene of the crime via the DNA tag.

Much like Hans Christian Andersen himself, SmokeCloak fog security is deeply rooted in the city of Odense. And like the fairytale creator, who loved to explore Denmark but also journeyed far beyond the country’s borders and became famous worldwide, SmokeCloak is about to make its global debut. As a matter of fact, you can already find us in more than 40 countries around the world. Jeppesen concludes by noting, "I would gladly recommend the SmokeCloak fog security system to anyone else who’s worried that their unique or highly valuable property might be stolen."
